saviofernandes Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 (edited) I bought a new HP laptop (Windows 10) from the HP store, I'm in the UK, I haven't accepted the EULA yet. Am I able to claim a refund of the Windows tax? I wasn't given any option App Lockof choosing Linux or no OS when I bought it and now I 7Zipam being asked to accept the EULA so I feel this is the time to exercise my consumer rights. ARandomOWL Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 You can try, but I can't imagine you'll have much luck. To me, it sounds a bit like asking for a discount on your new phone because you won't use the selfie camera. Windows 10 is part of the product you bought.
