How can I desolder the PS3 controller joysticks?

Hi everyone, like the title says, how can I disolder the joysticks from the circuit board? I've tried multiple times with a soldering iron but I had no luck, do I need a heat gun? I have many PS3 controller parts and I want to change my broken  https://photomath.vip/ps3 joystick, can somebody help me please?https://textnow.vip/

Did you use a de-solder suction tool? Like this one -

Even a small amount of solder will keep the part in place.

I found that having the iron tip @ 330-350 C is the sweet spot for removing capacitors, BIOS chips without damaging board, and using good rosin.. this link might help provide some insight on de-soldering. https://www.badcaps.net/forum/
