On August 21 Gamescom 2018 will begin and now we know what THQ Nordic will be bringing with it. The company has announced Darksiders III will be there, and will be playable, along with Biomutant. Fade to Silence, and Generation Zero will be on hand for visitors to try for the first time. There will also be four more games shown off behind closed doors, with one of them a world exclusive that will break cover during the Gamescom opening ceremony.
Unlike the other games, Generation Zero is not coming from a THQ Nordic developer but Avalanche Studios, the company behind the Just Cause franchise and recently purchased by Nordisk Film. The two companies have signed a deal for THQ Nordic to handle the physical distribution of the game. This follows a successful distribution deal for theHunter Call of the Wild. The game offers a four-player co-op survival experience set in an alternate 1980s Sweden where hostile machines roam the countryside. It is expected to release in 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
