Earlier this year ASRock entered the video card market by launching its Phantom Gaming series. All of the original cards are based on AMD's RX 500 series of GPUs, but now there are Vega-based Phantom Gaming cards too. A roadmap for future ASRock graphics cards has appeared and it demonstrates a continued commitment to staying in the market with a MK2 series launching apparently in August. Unfortunately what are not shown on the roadmap are MK2 versions of the Vega cards or any mention of a new GPU series from AMD, such as a potential RX 600 series.
The roadmap does stretch to around February or March, so this might be an indication that AMD is not launching anything new until then, or it might be the roadmap is not complete. There is also no mention of any MK2 Vega cards, but then these cards only just launched, so it may be premature to tease second versions. It may also be premature for a newcomer to the graphics card market to reveal a GPU manufacturer's unannounced products, so it is a little hard to interpret the significance of this information.
