Today marks the release of the K70 RGB MK.2 and Strafe RGB MK.2 gaming keyboards from Corsair. Both feature Cherry MX mechanical switches with the K70 having five switch types to choose from, depending on regional availability. Also common between the two keyboards is per-key RGB lighting and 8 MB of internal storage, and on the K70 that storage means you can bring your macros, remaps, and lighting profiles with you. Naturally Corsair's iCUE software can be used to configure the RGB lighting of these keyboards and synchronize the lighting across all supported Corsair products. Textured keycaps for FPS and MOBA gameplay are also included with both keyboards, and they have USB 2.0 pass through.

The K70 RGB MK.2 has a solid brushed aluminum frame and comes with a soft touch wrist rest. Actually there are two versions of the K70 with the SE version having a silver anodized aluminum frame and double-shot white keycaps that will never fade on you. The SE is only available in NA and UK layouts though. The choice of switches includes the Cherry MX Red, Brown, Blue, Speed, and Silent.

The Strafe RGB MK.2 is only available with either the MX Red switches or MX Silent switches, but still has many of the same features as the K70. Its frame is made of plastic and it comes with a detachale wrist rest.

These keyboards are available now from authorized retailers and are backed by a two-year warranty.
