Devolver Digital held its 2018 Big Fancy Press Conference ahead of E3 and showed off multiple games it will be publishing in the future. Among these is Metal Wolf Chaos, a From Software title from 2004 that had only released to the Xbox in Japan. Now it is coming to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 with support for 16:9 and 4K visuals later this year.
Okay, I think this line is worth pulling directly from the press release concerning My Friend Pedro: "one man's struggle to obliterate anyone in his path at the behest of a sentient banana." Aside from describing the game as a violent ballet, I am unsure what more can be said. It is coming to PC and the Nintendo Switch in early 2019.
SCUM is an open-world survival sim game that will be entering Steam Early Access this Summer, allowing gamers to play as prisoners-turned-livestream contestants. The focus is the struggle to survive against the elements, wildlife, and naturally other contestants (and unnaturally undead contestants as well). The hardcore survival gameplay is combined with a versus mode of network events the TEC1 broadcaster puts on between volunteering players.
Also present at the press conference was Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass that will bring back the series on a greater scale, taking fans to a new adventure featuring bullets, guts, and the one-liners we can expect from Sam.
To celebrate the event, there is a Steam sale going on for featured Devolver Digital games.
