What is your go to antivirus program?

I was happily using avast free for ages but its certainly not cutting it anymore. Malwarebytes free trial has been good but then it expires and I lose malware protection. What is your go to program right now?

Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes

We use bitdefender at my work. Low resources and catches most things if you let it update.

 

Saved a few conputers at work from idiots clicking on email spam.

Used to use avast free, then noticed it didn't do what it used to do, changed to Avira free and malware bytes free which I run about once a week and have been quite pleased with both. Sometimes avira will block sites which I know are safe so I just add them to the ignore list and I'm fine. So long as you keep the free ones updated they seem to work fine. Then again I don't open any emails with any .exe attachments.

The built-in Windows Defender goes all the time and occasionally I also run Malwarebytes (free version). The best security is always going to be caution though, being suspicious of unknown sites, downloads, emails, etc. and not just clicking things. Ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and all.
