Do any of you own or have any first hand knowledge if this is a good gaming mon ? I looked at plenty of reviews . All seem favorable.

After looking at the prices of the higher refresh rates its looking like their getting more then I'm willing to pay.

The Acer X34 overclockable too 100hz can be had from Microcenter for 799.00 + tax.= 847.00 . Thats just about my limit. Man who would have though

that we would be looking at 1k prices for a good gaming monitors.  Crazy!!!

Yes . I think the Acer was less expense . There's a good review on this site from last year. I got  the monitor this morning.

So far so good. I would be nice if it would swivel. Seems a bit off as far a the level. Not sure what I will do with the Asus PG279Q . Awesome monitor.

May give it to my son or sell cheap.

Well after having the Acerx34 for about a week now I will say Its not nearly as good as my Asus 165hz mon as far as the image quality

goes. I do like the ultra wide but the Asus is by far  a superior monitor.
