Assassin's Creed Origins launched in October last year and on January 23, just next week, it will be receiving its first DLC, The Hidden Ones. This DLC is a story drive expansion that follows the growth of the Brotherhood four years after the events of the main game. Players will be taken to the Sinai, where they will clash with an occupying Roman force with the help of an increased level cap and new gear. You will be able to reach level 45 through this expansion, find four new Legendary weapons amongst others, a new outfit, two new mounts, and two new levels for crafter gear.

Following The Hidden Ones in February will be the release of the Discovery Tour, an educational mode that will allow players to explore Ancient Egypt without any of the game's conflicts or missions. You will also be able to follow guided tours that have been curated by historians and Egyptologists. If that sounds interesting to you but the game itself does not, it will be available for purchase separately at a price of $19.99 on February 20. Those of you with Assassin's Creed Origins will receive Discovery Tour as a free update.

The second DLC expansion is The Curse of the Pharaohs and will be launched on March 6. It offers a new storyline that takes you to Thebes to investigate a curse plaguing the region. It has a focus on Egyptian mythology as players will go up against famous pharaohs and Egyptian beasts to uncover the cause of the curse. It will raise the level cap to 55 and give players access to new outfits and gear themed around classic Egyptian mythology.

Both DLC are part of the game's season pass, which itself is part of the Gold Edition, but can be purchased separately as well. The Hidden Ones will cost $9.99 and The Curse of the Pharaohs will be $19.99. The season pass, costing $39.99, also includes the Horus Pack and Roman Centurion Pack, a legendary weapon, and 500 Helix credits. There is also a lot of free content that is coming for every player, including the new Incoming Threat quest that acts as a prelude to The Hidden Ones.
