Guest_Jim_* Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Are you considering a monster computer that needs a lot of power to feed everything? If you are, Corsair has announced a new power supply you might want to consider as it can provide 1600 W and does so with better-than 80 Plus Titanium efficiency. The AX1600i achieves while being just 200 mm long, thanks to a move to Gallium Nitride (GaN) transistors instead of silicon transistors, which can be made smaller. It also supports CORSAIR LINK software, allowing control of various settings, and as the pictures show, comes with a lot of cables. Corsair is not just launching the AX1600i, but also two new coolers, the H115i PRO and H150i PRO. Both of these have 360º RGB lighting on the pump cap and sport CORSAIR ML Series cooling fans, which can actually be completely stopped when the CPU is at low temperatures, further reducing noise. The H115i PRO has a 240 mm radiator while the H150i PRO has a 360 mm radiator. If you are getting a new PSU and cooler, you will need a case to stick them in and Corsair has also launched the Carbide Series SPEC-OMEGA mid-tower cases. The asymmetrical design comes in white, black, or red and features tempered glass side and front panels. SPEC-OMEGA can hold up to a 360 mm radiator, like the H150i PRO, and has an internal layout to help with cable management through tie-downs, routing holes, and grommets. All of these products are available immediately from Corsair authorized retailers. Source: Corsair Back to original news post
