The issue with that theory is that he has email communication from the seller about shipping AFTER the second transaction with a planned shipping date.

Yes, I agree the email communications would work as proving my theory bs,..  ,.. I just can't figure this deal out,.. everything about it is strange, not adding up.  :dunno:

Just can't see anyone selling a new GTX 1080Ti card for less than MSRP,.. when all legit online sites that have them in stock are selling the cards for $1,499 to $1,699,.. and used 1080Ti's are selling on Ebay for $1000 like hot cakes.

Would be great if ding gets his card,.. and seller just got a killer deal on a bunch of new cards, and is not greedy,.. willing to sell them for less than MSRP.

So after reading all the post about it being a scam I filled a dispute on the 14th. It's funny, after filing the dispute I got a tracking number

from the person who received the money. WOW!!! Looking good. It was a ups number. So of coarse I did the ups tracking. It showed up as delivered

on a date that was even earlier then my order. I called Paypal  today and the girl looked at the tracking no. given and saw what I saw and was able to get my money back back with-in minuets .

I wonder if I waited until the 16th if that was some find of cut off date for me and I would have lost the money. Makes no since that it would had taken so long to ship

the card. Guess we will never know. But I got the 500.00 back and will just order else where. What a fricken ride that was. Thanks to all of you . You may have saved me a lot of money

from being lost.

You know a pegasus is easily worth $800 right

Every time I see this thread pop back up at the top of recent posts I shake my head, I knew there was no way they'd be selling legit cards for half the cost unless they're VERY stolen. Glad to see you got your money back Dling

Hey friends, just stumbled onto this thread. Wanted to let everyone know this same guy is still up to his same tricks. I saw an ad on Storenvy.com for new MSI 1080 TI graphics cards for $650. Sounding too good to be true, I sent a request asking if they were in stock, and it they were new in factory sealed box. Dude popped back very quickly with "yes" to both questions, and told me to "let him know when I was ready to order so he could provide me with his direct website". Of course I did, and he gave me digitalcomputustore.com.

On their "about us" link it gives a tel # and an address. The address is a single family house, and no answer when I call the tel #.

Sidebar note:

Dude's email was signed "Michael Hunt"

I looked up the ownership records of the house, and it is owned by David & Lisa Kohler.

So Two things:

1. DO NOT send this schmuck any of your hard earned money.

2. How do we blast out the word??

...Peace to All..
