MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is slated to launch late next year, so it is still a distance away, but that hardly stopped Piranha Games from making some announcements at Mech_Con. In addition to the trailer below, showcasing gameplay of various mechs and locations, it was also announced the game will have four-player co-op and mod support. The game's PvE experience follows a career-based Mercenary campaign that the player's decisions will shape, but if you want, you can host up to three friends to join you in your campaign, under your banner. Also MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will have full mod support through powerful toolsets, allowing fans to create new missions, contracts, planetary systems, biomes, and more. There will also be Steam Workshop support, making it even easier to share your mods and download others.
