Good news I can get my coins back, it costs 0.1 bitcoin. Will only take them 24 hours.

That's how I'm mining at the moment. I've had Folding@Home running a for a few weeks now, and as a side I'm mining Monero on my cpu.

Good to hear! man you are lucky that the BTC address was controlled by Bittrex.

Something about the email I got looks kind of fishy. Its a gmail email account............ and there is a typo in it.

"We have reviewed you request for crosschain recovery. We will only attempt to recover deposits that exceed $5000 and will charge a 0.1 BTC for this recovery."

We told you a long time ago the address in your folding name did not match the one you said you were using for your wallet so I have no clue how thats gonna work out.

You need to log into the counterwallet that has the address in your username

I thought it did that. Eh. I give up. Shutting down.

You got a couple thousand dollars in there can you log into it?

I could totally put an extra 2 grand to good use...

I suspect my wallet configuration is somehow fubar. argh!

I'm clearly not understanding something. Ages ago I had the wallet chrome extension that was recommended by the folding browser people. When that was depreciated I failed to migrate properly.https___wallet.counterwallet.io_#pages_balances.html - Google Chrome 2_21_2018 7_02_48 PM.png

Frustrating.

Thanks gang.

I got this earlier today in my email, keeping my fingers crossed.

"Dear customer, We have received the amount and we have started the cross chain recovery process."

Welp I think I'm done with this, it has been nothing but a headache, I've actually lost money trying to get this crap turned into US dollars and it's all gone. I do not have another $1000 laying around to give to the real bittrex support to just hopefully in a few months get my coins back.....................................................
