dling Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 is it possible to get the actual gpu and memory speeds instead of the offsets in MSI afterburner ?
ir_cow Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 In the slider offset I don't think so but it tells you the total on the left. Its double data rate so 100 offset is really 200 memory. Easy to keep track of.

ccokeman Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Also you look in the tracking window to see what the GPU is actually doing since core clock speeds are for the most part dynamic nowadays. You can set a maximum clock speed but it will only run that speed if the thermals and power curve fall below presets in the card bios. You really have to work the voltage and cooling to get the most consistent clock speeds.
ir_cow Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 1+ what ccoke said. It takes a bit of time to really home in on the clocks and its different per card. For example I need to keep it below 48c to sustain constant 2050 core without extra voltage (above 1.64v). Another I have stays at 2012 @ 65c 24/7 and only at 76c does it downclock my applied OC. Here is a guide I wrote for the 1080Ti. http://www.overclockersclub.com/guides/nvidia_gtx_1080ti_oc_guide/
dling Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Thanks. I saw that guide and that what got me messing with the overclocking of the card. 1+ what ccoke said.
