Late last year Ubisoft released the open world action-sports game Steep and today the publisher has announced Steep: Road to the Olympics, and expansion that will feature a story mode following the journey of a young athlete in training. This athlete is trying for three freestyle events, Big Air, Half Pipe, and Slopestyle, with the goal of being the first to win gold in these three events. As the real Olympic Winter Games of 2018 are going to be held in PyeongChang, Steep: Road to the Olympics will take players to South Korean mountains, but they will also get to explore the Japanese mountains. Also part of the expansion will be various tips and insights from actual Olympians, and new Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, and Freestyle Skiing events.
If you already have Steep, the expansion will cost $30, but if you need the base game as well, Steep Winter Games Edition has both and will cost $60. Steep: Winter Games Gold Edition comes in at $80 but includes the base game, expansion, and the Year 1 Season Pass, so you will get the three already available DLC packs as well.
