Guest_Jim_* Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 This is some news that for anyone who wants an SNES Classic but did not secure a pre-order might be glad to hear. Today Nintendo has released a statement that the company will ship more units of the SNES Classic in the US on its September 29 launch date than it shipped NES Classic units all last year. Naturally these will not be the only shipments, with more to come regularly afterward. I would not be surprised if demand continues to exceed supply, but at least this should make it easier to find one at the $79.99 MSRP. Speaking of the NES Classic, if you were not able to get one last year, you will be getting a second chance at one, without turning to Ebay. In the same press release Nintendo has also stated it will be returning with new shipments next summer.
