Originally released back in 2011, Rockstar Games has announced new versions of L.A. Noire are coming November 14, 2017. These new versions will bring the game to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One consoles, but also to the HTC Vive. L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files is going to be Rockstar's first venture into VR and will feature seven cases from the original game, rebuilt for the Vive's VR experience.

L.A. Noire follows Cole Phelps, a decorated veteran who has recently become a detective in 1940's Los Angeles. He will be investigating an escalating series of cases, which are inspired by real-world crimes, ultimately leading him to the criminal heart of the city.

Come November 14, gamers will have their choice of experiencing L.A. Noire in VR, at 4K, or on the go thanks to the portability of the Switch, the power of the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, and the capabilities of the HTC Vive. The console versions will include all of the DLC from the original game, along with technical enhancements to improve the experience, while the Switch will also receive platform specific enhancements, such as a Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic and gesture-based controls.
