Whats the temps on the FTW3? Also do you have 6 1080Tis now?

yes 6... ones running 50c the other 58c open air case all three fans on 75%

Those adapters dont work for folding though do they?

My understanding is that the adapters don't do well with folding, but honestly I have two adapters and no need for them currently and haven't tested it. Also being an Intel desktop platform I'm not sure how the lack of cores would work out with folding liking to use a full thread per GPU WU, not sure the performance hit (if any) if you "overload" the CPU side of GPU folding.

That is what I read also that they dont do well at all with folding but great for mining

It does-ish. I saw no difference running a 1080Ti on 4x PCIE 2.0. 1X for sure cuts folding down. Maybe once PCIE 4.0 comes out, people can use 1x for folding.
