You're also asking companies to cut profits simply because gamers are getting screwed over right now, which will never happen.

its not the mfg companies that are profiting from this its the retailers I,E newegg , amazon

Where do you think the retailers are getting there new batches from? Just cause they instantly fly off the shelves doesnt mean they are the only ones seeimg the profit.

Most of the ones that are actually posted by Newegg and Amazon aren't wildly priced - It's the 3rd Party seller prices you're looking at.  Granted, there's clearly no deals going on either but that's because stock is flying off the shelves as soon as it comes in.  Stores like Microcenter are also still selling cards like the RX 580 8GB for 250-290 depending on the model which is pretty much retail on them.  I'm sure the manufacturing companies are also profiting here because they're at full capacity as far as production to sale goes right now.  Samsung and Micron are probably benefiting as well here since their memory is most likely being used.

 

Mining difficulty is going up as more and more people are jumping on.  It will fall off and be less profitable for most people soon.
