Metro Exodus, the next chapter in the franchise has been announced and is coming in 2018 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. A quarter-century after a nuclear war devastated humanity, leaving only a few thousand survivors in the metro beneath ruined-Moscow, you as Artyom must flee what has been your home to find a new life in the East. In Metro Exodus players will not only be crossing the continent but also a full year, experiencing Spring, Summer, and the Autumn of a nuclear winter. The game will feature the blend of action, horror, survival, and stealth the franchise is known for, along with story-driven design and choices that will determine your comrade's fates. Players will get to explore non-linear levels as they cross the ruined world aboard the Aurora, a heavily modified steam locomotive. Steam currently has the Metro Redux games on sale, so you can pick them up at a good price if you are interested.
