One agent is Lazarus, a merging of woman and machine, who still loves humanity, even though she has evolved beyond it. The other is Johnny Gat from the Saints Row franchise, though with a retconned backstory. Instead of being a member of the Saints gang, Johnny achieved the rank of Lieutenant in Seoul's police department. After awakening from a year-long coma and finding the police had been replaced by robots, he needed a new place to call home. His love of guns and wanton destruction (and hate of robots) made him a perfect fit for MAYHEM. Lazarus is a pre-order bonus character for digital purchases while Johnny Gat is a GameStop exclusive pre-order bonus. Agents of Mayhem releases on August 15 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
