panoverclockers Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00002345Questions: Is this cooler compatible with Corsair 730T case?Is this cooler adequate for i7 4790k on high overclock @5.0GhzIs it better to connect water pump on cpu-opt or direct on psu?Use the pre applied thermal paste or apply something else like ARCTIC MX-4?Thank you.http://www.corsair.com/en-eu/graphite-series-730t-full-tower-case? Braegnok Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 The 730T supports 360mm rad in top, but you will be into top drive bay. A 360mm AIO cooler will be one of the best cooling solutions for 4790K,.. if it is adequate @ 5.0Ghz overclock depends on Vcore, ambient air temp, and CPU load,.. you will need to test and see what results you get. You will want to connect water pump as per instructions,.. most likely to 12V CPU fan header. If you have Arctic MX-4 on hand,.. I would use it. Otherwise the pre-applied TP would be fine.
