Guest_Jim_* Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 It was five years ago that the real time 4X Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion released, so to mark the occasion, Stardock and Ironclad Games have released the version 1.9 update. This update brings with it several optimizations, such as doubling the amount of memory the game can access, which will have performance impacts across the board and help with mods, and improved rendering for 4K systems with extreme textures, shadows, and the ability to scale the UI for that higher resolution. The AI has also been refined to make them even more challenging, so all around the update is to improve the player's experience. Current owners of Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion will get the v1.9 update for free and for anyone without a copy yet, it is on sale at 75% off from now until April 6.
