CheeseMan42 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 At CES 2017, Kingston unveiled its plans for a 1TB and 2TB USB 3.1 flash drive, known as the DataTraveler Ultimate Generation Terabyte (DTUGT). In addition to gaining the distinction of the world's largest capacity flash drive, the DTUGT was awarded Best in Show by Tom's Hardware. Users will be able to store more than 500,000 photos, 160 movies, or 70 hours of 4K video in the shock resistant zinc-alloy metal casing. Flash business manager Jean Wong described the DTUGT, stating "With the release of the DataTraveler Ultimate GT, users can push the boundaries of their mobile storage needs and ensure that they have more than enough space to store their video, photos and files in a small form factor."
