ppdemo Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 (edited) hi all im new here. i neet to know if cache voltage is too high and what you recommend me. this is my stable settings:Multiplier core ratio= 46Min/max cache ratio=45Vcore= 1.225Cpu cache= 1.290 (this is my biggest concern) to high?Vccsa= 0.824Vccio Analog and Digital= Auto (Hwinfo64 show me 1.016v)Vccin=1.808v Edited February 19, 2017 by ppdemo
ir_cow Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 around 1.2v for the cache ratio. I'm sure you can go higher but that seems to be the number I've came across (I think on the intel spec sheet) when I did the 4770k overclocking guide and around the web. ppdemo Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 man, what is max safe recomendation vccio voltage for i7 4790k 24/7 use?
ir_cow Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 It's going to be the same as the Haswell series CPU Voltage 1.20v (Stock Cooler) (1.325v Max)* *1.4v will work, but it's not recommend for long term CPU Ring Voltage / CPU Cache Ratio 1.2v System Agent Voltage 1.25v I/O Analog Voltage 1.25v I/O Digital Voltage 1.25v CPU TJMax N/A
ccokeman Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Most of the time you can get away with 1.15v on both the System agent and VCCIO

ppdemo Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 There is something I do not understand:why the recommended cache voltage for 24/7 is 1.15v ask this cause my cache stock is 1.18v, that is to say, a stock starts from 1.185v without OC
ccokeman Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Depends on the BIOS and if you are running an XMP profile. If you go set factory defaults in the bios and reboot then check the voltage it should be in the .95 to 1v range.
