Guest_Jim_* Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 For a third week in a row, Stardock has announced major changes or additions to one of its titles, but this time Offworld Trading Company is the game, instead of Galactic Civilizations III. Offworld Trading Company is an unusual RTS that challenges the player to achieve economic dominance with their company and not military dominance, as we so often see from the genre. Today it has received the Blue Chip Ventures expansion that adds 17 single-player scenarios to test even the most veteran players. The challenges in this expansion actually come from one of the game's top-tier players, Blues, who took inspiration from the game's Daily Challenges. Each scenario focuses on specific skills in the game, but some also require building on what you learned in the previous scenarios, if you want to win. The scenarios fall into three categories: Supply & Demand, where you will be monopolizing resources to stay ahead of your competition; Play Well with Others, where you will need to handle opponents and work well with a team; and Long-term Planning, which requires careful planning to turn a losing game around with debt strategies.
