Pulled the trigger this morning, building a new Coyote folding rig.  https://www.newegg.c...82E16813157538R

Going to wait till mid June or July on the cards, see what shakes out with AMD & NVIDIA .

It's too bad calculating SHA256 hashes with https://www.newegg.c...N82E16813997009 can not be converted or new code written for Biochem Folding,.. one board is equivalent to 30 AMD Radeon 7970's @ only 130W under full load.

I stuck the 980ti in the new rig went on and put it folding over 4 m ppd now. Waiting to see what the 1080ti and the new AMD is going to do.

The 6900k will bring 100k a day on 15 cores...

This is awesome! I really wish Bitcoins was from folding not pointless hashes....Wasting the worlds energy supply with stupid number crunching.

You will be back up the 6 BTC you spent in no time,.. at the rate your folding.

My folding rig started crashing/dropping 80% finished WU's last few months  ,..everything is worn out. I had two fans go out a few days ago, got damn hot till I noticed  ,.. and my card is noticeably slowing down on WU's,.. I'm hoping everything holds together for about three weeks and do a full rebuild.
