Braegnok Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Anyone else having issues with FAHClient not cleaning up after finishing WU,.. my rig is just stacking up 100% finished work units in Work Queue and attempting to clean-up but showing Error code in log. I shut down rig yesterday and cleaned fans, filters, blew out dust,.. then installed 10/6/2017 23.21.13.8792 Nvidia drivers, and let Windows install Fall Creators update. Noticed the clean-up error's this morning,.. guessing the Windows update could be cause for issue, as I ran Time Spy after new driver install and all was good at 2GHz,.. so going to re-install FAHClient an see what happens. Braegnok Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 (edited) Well after reinstalling FAHClient still not cleaning-up after finishing WU,.. rolling back new Nvidia driver,.. rolled back to 9/16/2017 driver and still have same client issues,.. rolling back Windows 10 to before Fall Creators update. Edit : Guess that was it,.. the Windows Fall Creators update does not play nicely with FAHClient,.. at least on my rig it causes errors, issues with GPU Load and turbo is limited or not working on cards while folding. ir_cow Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Don't forget people about the blockchain freeze for BTC on the 25TH. Than shortly afterwords the introduction of BTC GOLD. Since BTCG is using same the address you can potentially give away the other coin when trading BTC if your wallet doesn't support it. Braegnok Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 (edited) It was defiantly the "Windows Fall Creators" update that caused all the issues,.. kinda crazy as it's a new Z270 WS with SLI 1080Ti set-up,.. installing Windows updates should not effect graphics cards performance or my folding client,.. I would think. But after update everything shit it's pants,.. GPU load would not go above 84%, Turbo would not work, and client was throwing errors, dropping 100% finished WU's,.. after rolling back update everything is working normal,.. I clicked on No Updates for 35-days in settings till I figure out how to prevent auto installing the fall update next month. On top of that my counterwallet won't let me empty it. I have to leave $50 worth of BTC behind "For the miners" it says. What BS! Fixed fees, but constantly increasing in value... Sorta makes micro-transactions impossible because no one wants to spend $4 to send $40 lol.
