LOL, That's also a lot of added cost for no return assuming he's mining.

Also, i'm assuming he's using risers anyway, so why so close together?

Or is there a board out there with 11 x16 slots

I can't tell from that picture, do those slots have the notch cut out to fit an x16 card?

I've got a supermicro board that has a bunch of pcie slots like that, but I can't install gpus on them without risers because no notch :(

Speaking of boards with lots of slots, been tempted to grab one of these, the price seems reasonable:

Or you can get this ASUS B250 with 19 slots http://www.anandtech.com/show/11739/asus-announces-b250-expert-mining-motherboard-19-expansions-slots

But that SuperMicro board must have cutouts because those cards aren't on risers. The dude has 30+ videos for a build log of a 14 1080s system. Those where using a Asrock workstation board from what i can tell but split across two systems.

I wish I kept my ASUS X79 WS. that had 8 16x length PCIE slots, though wired for 8x for all but the top slot.

Cool but what cards can fit in there?
