CheeseMan42 Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 AMD is looking to get a head start on the holiday shopping season with the announcement of a small price cut on two cards in the 400 series of GPUs. AMD has updated the suggested pricing for the Radeon RX 460 and Radeon RX 470 to $100 and $170, respectively. The new prices represent a decrease of just $10 from the launch price, but AMD is likely hoping that it will make the cards more attractive in the face of the upcoming GeForce GTX 1050 series from NVIDIA. Several models of the RX 460 have already hit the new pricing on Newegg, while at the time of writing PC World was only able to find a single RX 470 at the new price.
