bp9801 Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 EA's next Battlefield entry, Battlefield 1, is nearly upon us. Multiplayer is always a massive draw in the series, as evidenced by the recent beta drawing in millions, with 64 players battling it out on maps with a range of weapons and vehicles at their disposal. However, multiplayer isn't everything the Battlefield series has to offer, as there is a single player component to the games, too. You can see some of that single player action in the trailer below, as EA gives us a look at the campaign we can experience. Battlefield 1 is set in a bit of alternate version of World War I, but many of the elements should be familiar to anyone who has seen pictures from it. All the footage in the trailer is listed as in-game footage, so it looks impressive, but isn't exactly gameplay footage. Still, it's a nice look at what we can expect, so check it out below. There's a lot to take in from the trailer, with the single player campaign offering a bit of everything from WWI. A range of settings, explosions, tanks, brutal hand-to-hand combat, trench warfare, and so many deaths happening around you. Battlefield 1's single player should be quite a ride, one we can soak in when the game arrives on October 21 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
