CheeseMan42 Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Earlier this year Amazon announced a standalone video streaming service at a cost of $8.99 per month. It now appears that Amazon is planning a pair of music streaming services similar to services like Spotify. The first service would have a $10 per month cost and would allow for streaming on all platforms. A second service is expected at a cost of $4 or $5 per month with the caveat that it will only work with the Amazon Echo. Amazon hopes to have several million Echo devices in circulation by the end of this year, but that number still falls far short of the available users that utilize similar services on their smartphones.
