CheeseMan42 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Many games that have been developed for consoles and PC have found the PC version a bit lackluster despite the potential for more powerful hardware. As part of the Play Anywhere initiative, Microsoft is hoping to turn that around, starting with the "flagship" Gears of War 4. The game will offer 28 different graphical settings with an explanation of how that setting will impact performance. Unlike some ports, the game will have an unlocked frame rate with texture support for resolutions up to 4K. Rounding out the PC features will be fully customizable mouse and keyboard controls. The game will be available in October for both Xbox One and PC. Source: VG 24/7 Back to original news post

ir_cow Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Awesome, I don't have to buy an Xbox One just to play Gears!
AkakmanH Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Sounds great. Wonder if they will offer it as a Steam game.
