Intel Looking to Unload McAfee

It is being reported that Intel is planning to sell its cyber security division, which came about with the 2011 purchase of McAfee for $7.7 billion. McAfee is probably most widely known as the company behind the popular antivirus software. The move follows previous indications from Intel that it was looking to distance itself from the PC market, as well as announced plans to cut up to 12,000 jobs.
