CheeseMan42 Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 As the popularity and reach of eSports continues to grow, companies are always looking for a way to expand the market for their products. Kingston has made the latest attempt to expand mainstream appeal by signing NBA player Gordon Hayward to an endorsement deal. As the newest member of the HyperX family, Hayward "will exclusively use HyperX gaming headsets, will be featured in marketing campaigns, regularly stream gaming sessions, conduct giveaways and make appearances for the brand starting today." I remember him competing in a StarCraft II tournament in the early days of the game, with him managing to make it a few rounds into the bracket. Hayward described the move stating, "As an avid gamer and professional athlete, I know how important it is to have the best equipment to compete and I’m excited to have joined the HyperX team to represent their gaming gear and build upon their reputation of having the most comfortable and best sounding headsets on the market."
