Guest_Jim_* Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 CRYORIG and NZXT have teamed up to bring us the world's first software controlled RGB heatsink, the H7 Quad Lumi. As you might have guessed by the name, it is based on the CRYORIG H7 cooler, but has been upgraded some, increasing its performance by at least 10%, so it now supports 150+ W CPUs. It has four 6 mm heatpipes and its base is pure copper with nickel playing. Beyond the improved heatpipes, the H7 Quad Lumi features the Lumi lighting system. This system is built on NZXT's Hue+ controller board, which will allow it to sport nine special lighting effects at launch, with more coming via firmware updates. The Lumi system is also capable of dual channel LED configurations, so the lights at the logo and base of the cooler can be controlled separately. Naturally the software for controlling the LEDs, NZXT CAM, will also allow one to monitor the CPU temperature, fan RPM, and profile settings. The targeted release date is the 2016 holiday season. Price will be announced later. Source: Press Release Back to original news post
