Guest_Jim_* Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Patriot makes a variety of computer components, peripherals, and accessories, and has today announced its two fastest SDXC memory cards. The two cards are the EP PRO-II SDXC and EP PRO-II microSDXC and will be available in 64 GB to 512 GB and 32 GB to 128 GB capacities, respectively. The read speeds can reach as high as 280 MB/s and write speeds as high as 100 MB/s, which is enough for 4K video recording and the continuous shooting of high resolution still images. That makes the cards compliant with the UHS-II U3 speed class, which is the fastest performance standard today. They are still compatible with non-UHS-II devices, so they will work with older devices, as well as current and future devices. They also have built in error-correcting codes and content protection for recordable media. The EP PRO-II SDXC and EP PRO-II microSDXC cards will be available in August, both online and in stores. Prices might vary between regions. Source: Patriot Back to original news post
