dling Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 So do I. Everything I read as far as reviews of it were very good. It's an open box purchase so hopefully thats not an omen.

dling Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I have a question about dead pixels. What is the best way of checking for them? As well as back light bleed thru.
IVIYTH0S Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 (edited) I have a question about dead pixels. What is the best way of checking for them? As well as back light bleed thru. I'd run through a whole bunch of solid colors, slowly and carefully. Black will show you if there's any backlight bleed and the other colors will help reveal dead/stuck pixels! dling Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Is there a mostly common area for the color bleed,or may it show up any where ?
Braegnok Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Congrats on the new monitor 165Hz sounds sweet Light bleed or IPS-glow will be around the edges of monitor and is most easily seen with a black background,.. you can test for hot, dead, stuck pixels http://www.doihaveadeadpixel.com/
dling Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 It's going to be a bit of a wait until I can check it out. I was informed that my out of home state trip may last until the end of February. . I have requested that the box not be opened so I can open it with some sort of date stamp in case of a need to RMA it.
