Avinexis Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 (edited) Hey OCC. I'm picking up a second screen for my PC tomorrow - The plan is to use my TV as one screen and a proper not-eye-destroying 24 inch monitor as the other. I'm going for HDMI as my main choice of connector but will be fine with DVI or DisplayPort as a backup. The plan is to use both my GPU and my processors iGPU to render a screen each simultaneously, but if I can't get this to work then I'll need to fall back on my GPU, which only has the single HDMI port, 3 DisplayPort connectors and 1 DVI connector. I'm looking at a really nice curved Samsung monitor for ~ Edited January 9, 2016 by Viexi
Waco Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 You want a DVI->HDMI converter for that monitor. Don't run VGA unless you absolutely have to.
RedFury77 Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 (edited) Just use the displayport-to-whatever cables. They make all of them and even support audio (unlike dvi) like this :http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-102003-6-Plated-DisplayPort/dp/B004C9P9TM Don't run VGA unless you absolutely have to. This!
