NCC10281982B Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I'm having an issue with Badly pixelated and garbled handbrake DVD rip. I am using the default settings but each attempt has produced the same bad results. Its like it is trying to encode and playback at the same high speed. http://jeffloper.me/video/S9E4-1.mp4
dr_bowtie Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 what other audio/video software do you have installed? I ran into that a while back where software installed screwed up the codecs and it could not be fixed. I think there became an issue with a creative driver and vlc and something else. I ended up just wiping the drive and installing windows fresh and only loading handbrake. Then it worked fine. Are you using Handbrake to rip the dvd? if so dont.... too many issues. Use a DVD ripper and just encode it with handbrake.
NCC10281982B Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Okay. Once I get the new rig up and running I will try that. I tried DVD decrypter as well. Same problem. I just have drivers and the hippauge capture program othetwise. Thanks.
SpikeSoprano Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I used handbrake for years and had to uninstall and reinstall quite a few times when it would start doing that, it can get buggy all by itself for no apparent reason.
