CheeseMan42 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 The dynaPad is a 2-in-1 laptop/tablet system from Toshiba, similar in design to the Microsoft Surface 4. The Windows 10 machine weighs just 1.25 pounds at a thickness of 0.27", making it the "thinnest and lightest 12-inch mobile notebook in the world." The dimensions of the dynaPad increase to 0.59" thick and 2.2 pounds when the keyboard is attached. The device is powered by an Intel Atom X5-Z8300 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of flash storage, and seven hours of battery life. Rounding out the dynaPad features is a TruPen from Wacom with "2,048 levels of pressure, allowing for natural writing when taking notes or drawing," which is fully compatible with Microsoft WebNote technology. Microsoft Windows and devices chief Terry Myerson commented on the dynaPad stating, "In addition to being a powerful note-taking device - designed to replicate the way people write on paper - the dynaPad has great support for Continuum, and is ultra-thin and lightweight."
