I have just read if you buy a NVMe SSD you need to make sure the motherboard you buy can boot from a NVME SSD. Braegnok Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Any motherboard with M.2 ports that support PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA 6Gb/s standards will work fine,.. check motherboards M.2 SATA and SATAe ports maximum support for lengths, various combination possibilities.
