Psywar Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I have not been called up to bat yet in the terms of obtaining W10. I was just planning on waiting my turn and reading the reviews while I waited. I would probably opt for the USB install as well as I have read more success stories going that route.
slick2500 Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I have not been called up to bat yet in the terms of obtaining W10. I was just planning on waiting my turn and reading the reviews while I waited. I would probably opt for the USB install as well as I have read more success stories going that route. All in all it took me about 10-15 min to do the update and no issues at all.

F13Bubba Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 A coworker showed me this. How to download and install Windows 10 without using Windows Update i tried that but it asked for a product key You can use the creation tool to update from the pc, and just skip the prompts for a key, it'll activate automatically. For some reason, you can't update from USB without a key. But you can clean install from USB
jdm_freek Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 (edited) I give up every time I try to do it it fails and then it tells me that my windows is no longer valid. I have Windows 7 Ultimate and I know it's valid I'm just going to say screw it and just purchased my own key Edited August 10, 2015 by jdm_freek
