Guest_Jim_* Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 With E3 going on, you can expect a lot of news to come out of the many briefings companies will give. This morning Microsoft held its Xbox briefing and it did not fail to show off a lot of new games and features, as well as providing more information about already known titles. Check out our Official E3 2015 forum thread for discussion and videos. (It would take far too long to embed them all here.) As Microsoft has been saying for quite some time now, this E3 was going to be about the games, and at the briefing they showed off 21, including Halo 5: Guardians, Fallout 4, Gears of War 4, Fable Legends, Dark Souls III, Tom Clancy's The Division and Rainbow Six Siege. (Check out the Rainbow Six Siege multiplayer trailer from the briefing on our YouTube channel. Naturally there was more than just games to discuss as new Xbox One features were announced, including the Game Preview program, which is early-access for the console, and backwards compatibility with select Xbox 360 games. Microsoft also announced a new Xbox Elite Controller with a wealth of customization options, including replaceable buttons, game-specific settings, and a premium design. HoloLens, Microsoft's augmented reality device was also shown off with a fully-featured version of Mincraft. Virtual reality was not left out though, as Microsoft announced its partnership with Valve VR, to help make Windows 10 the best platform for VR gaming. Even more than this was shown off at the briefing, so I encourage everyone to check out the source link below, as well as the videos shared in our forum thread.
