ASUS warranty is serial based, so just make sure the serial number is intact on the card. You don't need an invoice or a receipt. Sometimes there's stickers on the heatsink  screws that say "Warranty void if broken" or something to that effect, but I've never had issues with RMA graphics cards, and I always remove the heatsink to replace the original TIM.

You could always ask him for the serial # of the card before you even test it and go to asus website and check it out.

i got bored waiting on the 390x and 980 ti so i picked up two 660 ti's for sli for $120

and looking for a third to play with

What happened with the used 980 for $400 ?

didnt trust him his story changed then the meeting place

and figured the 660 ti sli at 1080p would tied me over til the 980 ti come out

ive been benchmarking and at 1080p its pretty much the same as a 970

I am considering picking up another 660 for my rig, the sli benches are great, sure I'll be limited to 2 gb of vram but I only play at 1080 so that won't be a problem, cheapest way to go for now.

Two 660Ti the same performance as a single 970?

Something smells fishy...

I did say around about same performance at 1080p I didn't say that it was more powerful certain games like Battlefield 3 on Ultra settings 1080p I average about 120fps (have not played bf4 yet) which is on par with a GTX 970. and of course I know there will be some games that don't support SLI and of course the enormous power draw difference but for $120 it wasn't a bad buy.
