wevsspot Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 You could reset your Windows update history. After that delete the downloaded (but uninstalled) Windows updates. That won't remove any installed updates, but it will force Windows to re-scan for all correctly installed updates and then download the ones that have previously failed. Braegnok Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I've seen the update failure issue on new installs when the dvd was corrupt,.. re-installing with different disk solved issue, also If Windows is not activated yet or the date & time are incorrect,.. you can have system update issues.
