Jensen is back :D There's an interview video on the gameinformer page with more info, but the game takes place 2 years after Human Revolution.

Some of the good stuff are

Better, smarter AI

Nano-blade can be launched now

Crysis like weapon customisation, and new cool augments

Anybody else excited as I am for this?

Some leaked pics on pcgamer website too(below images, not confirmed like gameinformer but more than likely are real)

#CANTKILLPROGRESS twitch campaign, this is basically watching a tortured man in a holding cell with instagram videos released periodically to tease the reveal and some info about the person... didn't work out too well with the leak but still some more stuff to come

I was just about to mention that it was Crysis like but you beat me to it, I'm excited! I loved the first Deus Ex and Human Revolution but haven't played Invisible War yet...but so far I'm going to bet this will be as great as the rest!

Hehe

First game I've been genuinely excited about this year apart from Space Hulk Deathwing, last year was pretty dull to me. The interview states that he's feeling like he needs redemption, hope that doesn't spoil anything :( Also I'm hoping for a bit more varied enemy looks ;)

Can't wait for more news :)

I remembered being so conservative in DE:HR with stealth takedowns until I realized the last battery cell regenerates...then it's all I did for max XP haha. I'd pick off enemies so carefully just to max out my XP collected

Yeah, I'd occasionally save and go on a headshot spree or a sliceup spree with my blades but then load and continue with as pacifist a run through I could for maximum Experience Profit!

True, I wonder how they'll make em smarter

There's some info in the links, stuff like flanking, investigating in groups/pairs rather than alone, not sure if double take down will help much :(

That was always my beef with stealth games... the "guards" just check one area one at a time and only to a certain point, they should pursue/investigate a little further than most games would so you know to totally hide or keep running to not get caught. Usually you know how far they'll look and who will come looking so you can set up a trap but they shouldn't make it that easy.

Updated the OP with #CANTKILLPROGRESS, was too excited after reading the gameinformer link to mention it :)

In the last video, a familiar shape is floating in water with debris... I think you can figure out what that means or at least part of what it means :) I wonder if something else happens, like maybe it was going to be bombed anyway so all the choices are canon

According to the GI article, Eidos-Montreal isn't sharing the exact canon for the ending.

"Eidos-Montreal says it won't comment on which ending it considers to be canon. In fact, the team is trying to string together elements from each of Human Revolution's endings to create the cultural backdrop for Mankind Divided. However, in the official Deus Ex lore, Panachea was destroyed and crashed into the Arctic Ocean. In the wake of this disaster, augmented people were blamed for this "terrorist attack," kicking off a cultural broil. Transhumans quickly came to be seen as second-class citizens, and were segregated from the rest of society. Eidos-Montreal refers to this as the mechanical apartheid, and was heavily inspired by films like District 9, which explored many of the same themes of forced eviction and xenophobia."

Missed that :O

Even more excited to play through the story now :D Hope it will be out this year, been waiting for something like this for a while now

*Edit*

Is that in the subscription article? I didn't see it on the website articles

Also updated with the Announcement trailer

If we can do half the things we can in this trailer....

I forget what ending I chose...makes me want to go load up the game and check. I think I said screw everyone and shut it all down...unless that was Deus Ex 1...but I think I synced my mind with the AI to rule the world with a perfect hybrid mind
