NCC10281982B Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 These seem really out of place. I'm guessing one of those sexy amazon tracking cookies is the culprit? Yes I cleared the browsing data. Still L getting this:
WarWeeny Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Those are the standard ads tbh. I get those as well, even though i never looked or searched for any of the topics.
Waco Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Mine are all hardware related. Clearing your cache doesn't remove your AdSense data. It's linked to your browser and profile. Try incognito mode.

But that doesn't explain why i get ads that i never looked for (not even a part of the topic, like weight loss shit or even impotent stuff O,o)
Waco Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Google serves them based on whatever it thinks is associated with your history. I get car/home insurance, hardware, tools, and car parts.

Well, whatever Google thinks, it is wrong I am the only person who uses this laptop, and i am quite certain i didn't look up anything related that i get with the ads. Well Google isn't perfect, but they do seem pretty damn accurate.

Cespenar Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I get ads, and they sometimes cover what I'm trying to read. If I remember rightly I was looking at a site and a phone company scrolled. I was gonna click off but I have a new phone but nobody in NSW has a cover. This scroll had what I wanted. First time I have used an ad like that in my life. (I don't like ads. I buy what I need, not what some company throws my way). Bit left of topic. Sorry.
