So this week's poll is going to be about something that has been popping up on international news the last couple months.

What are your views on the Ferguson shooting involving Michael Brown and Darren Wilson ?

For those of you who haven't heard about it : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Ferguson_unrest

There's a few versions of events, but it appears as though :
Brown robbed a store. Officer Wilson confronted Brown. Either Wilson was abusing his power or Brown was assaulting a police officer.

A struggle through the window of the police car ensued, where the two of them were. Officer Wilson shot twice through the window, and hit Brown once.

Brown fled the scene. Officer Wilson instructed him to stop and get on the ground.

The fatal shots were fired, however the circumstances are unclear.

Either Brown rushed officer Wilson, and Wilson fired multiple shots in self defense. Or shots were fired and Brown eventually surrendered with his hands up but was fatally shot anyway.

Only two people know exactly what went down that day,.. Officer Wilson and the man with Brown,.. both men tell different versions of exactly what took place that lead to Browns death,.. it's doubtful that a vest mounted camera/camcorder with voice on Officer Wilson could have prevented the outcome but the circumstances would have been clear.

Hopefully more law enforcement agencies will implement vest mounted camera/camcorders with voice on there Officers,.. to clear up discrepancies in eyewitness versions of circumstances and Officers versions.

Looks like the tax payers can pay for them, http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/12/01/obama-police-body-cameras_n_6250146.html

The officer was cleared, end of story, some people will start riots just for the sake of looting, they are the ones that should be prosecuted.

You have to laugh, if a dog pee's on a fire hydrant, 10 people will post a video of it on you tube, yet nobody got a decent video of this shooting.

I thought the prosecutor made a good case.  However, I don't think he should have given the press conference at 8:00 at night.  I think he should have waited until mid morning of the following day.

I find the answers to the last question slightly revealing.

The facts are known, the case was tossed, now it's just a media stunt.

As for the last question - I don't think there's ever a time when authority should not be monitored for abuse.

1)Bottom line is he was a suspect in a robbery. Suspect only because he had not been arrested. Had he followed the officers direction and cooperated then he would be sitting in jail right now instead of taking a well deserved dirt nap. His actions directly caused his demise.

2) Grabbing for an officers weapon is never an act of surrender, neither is charging an officer who is physically smaller than you

3) Oh hell no. I want to see the father of Brown arrested for inciting a RIOT. He was caught on tape after the decision was read stating " Burn this bitch down now". Why an how has he not been arrested. Will he be charged in a civil suit to recover the damages of the businesses and pay for the additional manpower to keep the peace?  At what point does looting and stealing help the dead criminal? It doesn't, it's an excuse to steal and get away with it.

4)Have people stop reinforcing stereotypes by acting in a way that causes a reaction and you wont have a problem.  Is brutality a problem? Depends on who you ask. Stay out of trouble and you won't have to worry about it.
