Hi, I'm having an issue with my computer. When the ambient room temperature gets hot my monitor will shut off but the computer which doesn't shut down will be unusable. I have to restart the computer most of the time the boot order is rearranged in the BIOS, putting it back in the proper order solves the issues.
I was informed that it was my SSD, at one point months ago, during the winter I had a static charge and I touched the computer and the discharge (the first and only time) destroyed the SSD or so I was told. I did the next best thing, I went out a bought a new SSD drive (Samsung Evo). A week after the new drive was installed and I cleaned my computer of dust; the problem resurfaced. It just happened this morning twice, the room temperate is somewhat hot.
I'm beginning to lean towards a fan is over heating, and my other SSD and my current SSD are fine. The PSU is spinning well, my guess is the GPU fan ?
